Catherine King, Partner and President
Yellow House Associates Partner and President Catherine King delivers services to the firm’s clients and is responsible for its overall financial performance. Since co-founding Yellow House in 2001, King has been involved in the development, deployment, and management of various client solutions, including the heralded Columbo project for the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C. Her executive accomplishments have included overseeing the firm’s relocation to an Enterprise Zone in the Nation’s Capital as well as managing its corporate finance function through and beyond the critical start-up phase.
Trained as an educator, King served as a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer in Korea and England, and subsequently as a contractor to the Defense Intelligence Agency. At DIA, she contributed to a critical information assurance project and a ground-breaking, web-based certification and accreditation system. With these experiences, she co-founded Yellow House Associates in 2001.
King holds a BS degree in Secondary English Education from Louisiana State University. She is an active member of Women in Technology and other community-focused organizations.
Michael Schader, Partner and CEO
Yellow House Associates Partner and CEO Michael Schader is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s client service and business operations. Since co-founding Yellow House in 2001, Schader has been involved in the development, deployment, and management of various client solutions, including the heralded Columbo project for the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C. His executive accomplishments have included building a talented, diverse, and growing team of consulting professionals, and establishing the headquarters of the community-focused firm in an Enterprise Zone of the Nation’s Capital.
An electrical engineer and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. intelligence community, Schader personifies the blending of technical and domain knowledge that sets Yellow House apart from many consultancies. Prior to launching Yellow House, Schader spent four years as a technical team leader for the Defense Intelligence Agency. Before that, he was an Air Force Intelligence officer in a number of European and Asian posts during the early 1990s.
Schader holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MA degree in Administrative Management from the University of Maryland (Overseas Division). He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Government).
